[A kind of awkward pause, like he doesn't really know what to say. He's been kind of out and about, mostly training and not interacting too much lately, after all--mostly coping, though he probably wouldn't admit to it like that]

I was just wondering how everyone was doing. Anyone up for a spar, maybe? Um- Or a supply run?

Right! Fencing with a sword.

I have twin Dao swords. I've never heard of... fencing.

Those are meant for cutting and slicing. Swords used for fencing are épées and foils and the like--things you can thrust and jab with. It's... a sport.

It's just like martial arts, but using the sword like an extension of your fists. But, I admit it's a sport.
