forged_anew: (Angry yelling)
[The camera flickers on with a violent crash and the dreamberry falls to the ground to the sounds of static and yelling and other violent thuds, perhaps of something being thrown--]

It's not fair!

[Fire, just a flicker of it on the edge of the screen that is now showing mostly the (rebuilt) apartment ceiling. Nothing burning, at least, just a demonstration of extreme frustration-- and that's putting it lightly.]

You can't do this! You hear me?! Whoever the hell's in charge of this stupid place- [Zuko curses, then suddenly gives up and slides down to sit against the wall beside the device he's clearly forgotten about, knees up, face in his palms, talking to himself.]

I waited... I waited for months, and all I got was a few damn weeks and half the time she didn't even believe most of the things I said. It was all so...

Pointless.

Would've been better not to bring her here at all...
forged_anew: (With Mai)
Effects: Loneliness, possible romantic desire for a significant other
Warnings: Sad cuteness?

[ A beach, seen in snippets: waves and sand and cliffs with splashes of green along the rocks. It's summer, perhaps, but then again, it's always summer here. The water licks at the shore and there's laughter somewhere far away, far away, fading.

The scene shifts suddenly as dreams are wont to do, and it's dusk now, pink clouds swirling and kissing the horizon along the line where sky meets ocean. A girl sits on a blanket, only her back visible, and she looks out over the ocean, long black hair down for once (because Zuko always loves it when it's down, so soft), dancing gently in the breeze.

She's alone, but there's a distinct sense that she isn't supposed to be. She must be waiting for someone, waiting all day and so disappointed, though--when she turns to look over her shoulder as if called--her expression is blank.

A flutter, colors blurring, and then there is the heavy sense of loss and regret and the need to just
apologize and be there for her. He wants to hold her, even wants to hear her reprimand him because, in the end, anger hides the fact that she gets lonely too. Memories flit around like snowflakes, dissolving into brief flashes of images, a couple walking along the beach or kissing beneath a sun-umbrella.

Mai...

Zuko
misses her. ]

(OOC: Uuh, hope I did the dream post correctly lol. But yeah, in honor of Valentine's Day not that Zuko's ever heard of it, this dream is supposed to be about Zuko's girlfriend~ Also, I might be slow on responses 'til Monday, just as a heads' up. :> ))
forged_anew: (Brooding)
Uncle, Mai, Toph... Sokka too now, huh?

[sigh]

It's pretty selfish to want them back though, I guess. I hope Katara's okay...

[silence for a while, and then a crash--very likely the communicator being thrown against the wall from the sound of it. Then Zuko's voice again, farther away but much, much angrier.]

I need to go home too, you stupid scientists! Let me go home already!
