[ Shuffling, grumbling, disoriented groaning and just lots of sky and ice and useless things as the Dreamberry goes unnoticed on the frozen ground. And then a disheveled sort of Zuko pops up, sitting up and rubbing his head, squinting about in complete confusion. ]
Ugh, what in the--? Ow.
[ Yes, he just pinched himself. ] Guess that means it's not a nightmare. Where the heck is this?
And why is it so cold?!
((OOC: Aaah, intro!post for Zuko, and hoping I've done it correctly ^^; Ummmyeah~ So here ya go, have a confused frozen Firebender who'd love an explanation~ ))

Date: 2011-01-20 07:39 am (UTC)[The moment her eyes lay upon the scene however, her legs pull her into a run, arm outstretched to summon her Keyblade in a whirl of flower petals. 'Sup Zuko, there's a girl darting in front of you, so don't go firing off your flames all willy-nilly now, okay? -- Aqua might be slight, but there is definitely power behind her block. She's full on stop-blocking that charge that Wrath is throwing in with her Keyblade alone. And if he doesn't relent or change direction, then she'll send a bolt of lightning through her blade and into the opponent's body.]
What's going on!? This fight needs to stop, here and now!
[Because yo. She's a policewoman. She will take you down, if she can.]
Re: [Action]
Date: 2011-01-20 06:33 pm (UTC)(The burned, now naked, hairless Homunculus finds his slashes blocked by a weapon ringed by flower petals. More accursed alchemy--Wrath, closed- mouthed again, leaps back, on the defensive, the new weapon that had blocked his strike coming into range of his Ultimate Eye. It is emanating with light--that does not give him much to go on. Irritating. Using his Homunculus agility, in a blur he dashes around in one motion, behind the enemy in the second motion, aiming to impale the blue-haired woman from behind.)
[Action]
Date: 2011-01-20 07:34 pm (UTC)[His state was cringe-worthy, but Aqua wasn't going to be distracted. There's a lot of Darkness roiling off of you that Aqua can sense, and it's making this situation all the more uncomfortable.]
[Too bad for Wrath that one of Aqua's biggest asset is her agility. And that much evil is easy to sense where it's moving to- she whirls around as the oncoming impale comes to strike from behind, Keyblade striking out with a nasty burst of Blizzaga. If it connects, it should effectively freeze at least one limb stiff for a while. She doubts he's got any Cure Magic on him, anyway.]
Cease this fight! I don't want to arrest anyone, but if it comes to that...!
[Let's hope he doesn't find a good reason to go after Zuko again- but just in case he does, she'll aim her Keyblade at the boy and shoot out a lightning quick spell that will encase him in a time-sensitive sphere of Reflect. A perfect barrier against just about everything.]
[Action]
Date: 2011-01-21 07:12 am (UTC)The lightning, however, did startled him, and he was about to throw up a fire-shield of his own when it... put some sort of barrier around him? What?]
Hey!
Re: [Action]
Date: 2011-01-21 02:26 pm (UTC)(Wrath knows that he cannot avoid this ever-expanding dome of frozen water, so now back at full agility, he blitzes in reverse, so that his non-sword arm takes the blow and that he clears the rest of his body out of range. Wrath glares death as his left arm freezes instantly, his raging right eye back to narrowed position momentarily as he locks onto the boy.)
(Without any breaks in between his evade and attack, charred Wrath charges through the snow towards the boy at normal speed, but no less incensed with volcanic hate. At the same time, he hears the noise of yet another alchemical attack behind him. He knows it's trajectory by ear--it gives off a distinct sound. He readies to evade it, without taking his eyes off of that little hothead--, but instead it lands on the boy--another_damned_barrier. As if that would make him stop endeavoring to cut it open.)
(Wrath collides his sword into the alchemical wall that has formed around the brat, and now, unhindered by alchemical spells flying at him, even with his left arm encased in ice and useless, his right arm works almost independently of the left side, delivering slash after slash after slash at the alchemical barrier)
( Sometimes the slashes are visible, other times they_are_not_detectable_by_the_human_eye.)
(To slice the barrier hundreds upon hundreds of times, Wrath is using his full strength, pushing his limits, and if this does not work, he is in danger of being unable to fight.)
(But until that SECOND comes, Wrath_DOES_NOT_STOP.)
[Action]
Date: 2011-01-21 07:50 pm (UTC)Aqua darted forward again, zipping around the attacking monstrosity with a large enough birth- just to get behind the barrier. Carefully, she pressed her hand against it, pressed through and reached for the flamer user inside.
"Come on! We have to leave!" Aqua knew she couldn't deal with this one by herself. If Terra had been here, maybe, but no. She had one shot left to try. If Zuko complied at least, Aqua would shove him further back behind him... And release the barrier. All of this happened within two or three seconds, mind you.
And as soon as it was down, Aqua knew she had to use the split second between the coming attack, and her own revolt. Her Keyblade shot skyward, light emanating from it, swirling and expanding for a brief moment...
[Let me know if this is okay? It's.. kind of god-mod-y so just yell at me and I'll revoke it! Or you can say it missed or something. xD]
...Wrath would feel the pull of something slowing him down. Dragging his limbs to nearly a complete stop. It wasn't that she had 'stopped' him, per se, but Slowaga was certainly a favored spell of hers. And it would only last for twenty seconds.
It should, theoretically, give her enough time to grab Zuko and put on some speed. To leave the battlefield with a final blast of Blizzaga to the air, coating their escape in dense fog that would last long enough for them to get away.
..As long as everything went according to plan, that is.
Re: [Action]
Date: 2011-01-21 09:29 pm (UTC)And Wrath continues to slash in futility with one arm--the other frozen useless--but he swings with no less ferocity, though the exertion of cutting hundreds of times against the barrier is sapping his energy. He drills his poison gaze at the human behind the alchemical wall, both eyes, the 'human' one narrowed, the Ultimate Eye bulging out of his charred head, dripping with sweat.
But then.
Wrath spied the girl move behind the barrier.
So it does not protect the flank, Wrath observed, and shifting his weight in one fluid movement, throwing one crispy leg back behind him, he lunges around the barrier at human speed, bringing his sword out and up over his shoulder. The Eye zeros in on the two targets--
He is going to cut them in one stroke. The girl withdrew the barrier, presumably so they can escape. This is the end.
When the cursed alchemy from the key-shaped weapon envelops him--covering too wide of an area to be avoided---
This time Wrath takes the full brunt of the girl's alchemy, and artificial muscles, sinews, slowed, brain signals fire with less frequency, nerves refuse to work at maximum capacity--
But the alchemy, as powerful as it is--cannot 'stop' him fully, so terrible is his fury. Wrath's swing--is now cut down to regular speed but it is still moving, bringing his blade_within_an inch from their throats.

Date: 2011-01-21 09:44 pm (UTC)[She wasn't expecting that- or she was, but not to the degree that it came. Arms jerked, bringing hey Keyblade down to block the incoming sword with barely a hair's breadth-- Her arms shook with the force behind it- the body of the homunculous was nearly twice the size of her own, and charred or not, it held a lot of strength. She had to move quickly, if she wanted to do her job before Slowaga ran out. Should have used a Stopga.]
[With a mighty heave, she urged the weapon off, ducking under-- probably at the cost of her shoulder, to slam her palm against the creature's burnt chest. A might burst of white magic would shatter against him; another Blizzaga. She had to freeze more of him, force it out across his chest, lock his shoulders in place, his hips, to keep him from moving. If it worked, he would be virtually incapacitated for a good ten minutes. Enough time for her to get his ass in jail. And maybe freeze him over again if he decided escaping would be a good idea.]
[Zuko, you better be out of range, damnit.]
Re: [Action] last edit!
Date: 2011-01-21 10:28 pm (UTC)You are quite the fighter, alchemist.
( Wrath's voice--in contrast to his rage contorted body, was low and calm, edged with a volcanic growl, slow and crawling under the effects of the alchemy.)
(The girl's forceful deflection brought Wrath's weapon away from the targets' throats down to Wrath's hip, and, still slowed, he reoriented the blade from off-line back into a straight, lethal line headed straight towards the girl's head--but the girl had ducked--in the process, she had scored her narrow shoulder on his blade.)
The girl was finally wounded. His bloodlust rose. Wrath turned his sword so that the sharp true edge was plunging slowly to her back, when--
Wrath felt the girl's small palm contact as strong as she can against his scorched chest. He feels the ice invade his chest, encase his shoulders, gripping the upper half of his body, stiffening it, and his sword drops out of his hand as it ices over.
Wrath's right pupil shrinks in his burned head. The ice does not stop at his chest and shoulders, coming from point-blank--it freezes his entire body, and he stands there for a few moments before falling in a block of ice into the snow. As inhuman as he is, his body freezes up as easily as any man's.
(The second most powerful Homunculus lays immobile in the snow, his expression frozen as well--in a cold glare of contempt for the two children.)
[Action] Sorry for the lateness, guys. Crazy busy weekend~
Date: 2011-01-25 07:41 am (UTC)Really, it's the only reason he stands down. Zuko isn't really one to like being 'saved', but in this case, it might be smarter to understand first how things work here. Once that thing is frozen, he moves forward again warily. ]
Did you kill it?
You're wounded.
[Action] No worries <3
Date: 2011-01-25 07:52 am (UTC)[And she's not. Not even close.]
[It's a gruesome scene to watch as the beast of what might have been human froze over. And she's entirely glad it did- her magic energy depleted considerably, already having been low from earlier in the day. But as the 'man' thuds to the snow, solidly frozen, she lets herself relax.]
Tentatively, she dismisses her weapon, if only to bring her hand up against her bloodied shoulder. That arm was immobile for now. -- Zuko's voice brings her back around.]
He's not dead. Just.. Frozen. I'm glad you're okay. [Because if you weren't, she wouldn't be taking the moment to breathe.] I showed up here with worse.
[It was a lie, but that was okay. She'd have a friend come pick her up later.]
What happened? How did you end up fighting? [A furtive glance back at the frozen creature. She'd need to chalk up Magnera to get him to the station.]

Date: 2011-01-26 09:04 am (UTC)[Zuko sounds aggravated, but who can blame him? Still, he's not at all happy that she got hurt helping him. He sighs.]
I could've handled myself.
[awkward pause. he should... thank her, shouldn't he?]
But... thanks. For taking care of it-- What are we gonna do with it, anyway?
What is it?
[...]
There are medics in this place, right? You should get that shoulder looked at...
[Action]
Date: 2011-01-26 07:46 pm (UTC)I'm sorry I interfered, but it's my job to keep people safe here.
[That included new comers and people who'd been here much longer than she.]
I have to take him back to the Station. I'd prefer if you came with me--[He should, but...]--As long as you're up to it. I'll need to write down what happened. It's warm in the Station, at least?
And I can help you find somewhere to stay for the time being, afterwards?
[Erk]
I know healing magic; I'll be alright, don't worry about me.
[Well. Terra did. Aqua wasn't sure she had it in her for another heal-- not if she had to drag this hunk of ice back to the Station. Speaking of which- Aqua resummons her Keyblade, a different one; Master Keeper. It had a much higher Magic output than her regular Rainfell. One point of her arm, hand bloodying the grip, and Magnera was casted upon the ice block. Time to haul it back.]
That was a pretty impressive display of Fire you did, by the way.
[Only one other person she knew who could play with fire like that.]
[Action]
Date: 2011-01-28 06:05 am (UTC)[he offered a hand, looking dubious about the 'healing magic'. What, like Katara's?]
It's called Firebending. What was... the thing you were doing? ...things. That wasn't Firebending, but you were using lightning-- and ice. That's not even possible.
[Action]
Date: 2011-01-28 06:10 am (UTC)[Instead she smiled. Firebending, hm? Maybe that's what Axel was doing.]
I know a lot more magic than just those two elements. [She motions back to the block of ice briefly.]
Magnet is an element, even.
[With the magic activated, she pulled her Keyblade forward slightly. The block of ice slid forwards, after it. As if pulled along by some magnetic force.]
[Action]
Date: 2011-01-28 06:12 am (UTC)[okay, maybe this is a bad time to argue. Zuko shakes his head, eying the moving icething distrustfully.]
You're bleeding. How long will that stay frozen?
[Action]
Date: 2011-01-28 06:15 am (UTC)It's still winter, so.. Unless someone puts a fire under him, it should be a little while. [The higher ups might want to thaw him out sooner, but she won't mention that.]
I'll be alright, really. [Do we have a new Mom in our dear city, Zuko? Are you up to the job?]
[Action]
Date: 2011-01-28 06:18 am (UTC)Then wrap your shoulder up with something. It's too cold for you to be losing a lot of blood.

Date: 2011-01-31 11:56 pm (UTC)The Station isn't far..
[But since he won't stop bothering, she'll grit her teeth and cast a low level heal upon her shoulder. It slows the bleeding considerably, but now she's depleted. The glaring ice block behind them stuttering, nearly halting it's tracks again. But she kept trudging on, unwilling to leave her new prisoner behind.]
