[Zuko drops flat to the ground as soon as he sees Axel preparing that fire ball attack. He rolls quickly to the side and jumps back up to his feet in the same fluid motion as he lets fly a fireball of his own. A step forward, a move like a punch, and another chases the first on their way toward Axel.]

[Two, huh. Axel can't help but smirk as the two approach, flying fast, but rather than dodge he stays put, allowing the fireballs to connect with his body. For a long while Axel stays hidden in the flames and it's unknown whether or not he's avoided the attack.]

too many days out of the week, I'm afraid. /shakes head. silly life.

[That makes him pause in surprise, but he stays in his fighting stance, ready to retaliate again if needed. He'll give it a minute to see what Axel's doing.]

[The dust begins to settle and debris rains down before finally there's a loud bang and Axel appears at the point of impact, his body surrounded with little flickers of fire and sparks. If he's completely immune to fire's effects, he really doesn't have to be fighting right now, but he has to admit, it's fun anyway. A challenge, too, to be up against another fire wielder.

While dusting off a bit of dirt from his coat he speaks.]
