[Omi nods once and falls into a fighting stance. It's generally his strategy to place defense and evade, but he asked to spar for a chance to work on his weak area. That would be close-range offense.

He charges forward with a low kick aimed to catch Zuko off-balance.]

[It only takes him the second he sees Omi shifting stances to drop into a sturdy defensive stance of his own. He slides his leg quickly out of the way, not attacking yet, himself, and not jumping away. He'll let Omi try to get a few hits in first.]
