20 - [video] Fog and free meat

[The video turns on to show an expanse of fog, moving to point at the ground where something shadowy is visible through the mist]


The fog really does mess with your sense of direction. A minute ago I was only a few steps from Horton... Haru especially, maybe you shouldn't wander around.

Anyway... I found this body. Looks like one of the monsters, but it's pretty badly chopped up. It seemed unusual. Any idea who or what could've done this?


[He takes a few steps closer, nudging the shadow with his foot and panning the camera around. Whatever it had been, it was pretty big, and there were several lumps of it scattered around. Overall, not a pretty sight, and after a few more moments, Zuko turns the camera back towards himself. He's wearing a slightly disgusted expression, but otherwise looks thoughtful]


Anyone want to come over here and help me drag some of this home? I'm not one to refuse free meat.

(All considered it, doesn't really take Break all that long to get to where Zuko is, hat and cane and all -- all not including sweets, depressingly. Footsteps may or may not enlighten you to his presence since, well, apparently the fog is playing tricks on all and sundry. But hey. He looks surprisingly relaxed and upbeat considering the situation.)

[Zuko looks up at the sound of approaching footsteps, drawing his swords soundlessly just in case. It was probably only Raven or Beat, but he couldn't see a thing in the fog, so... better be cautious, right?]

[ He could have sworn he heard footsteps in a different direction from the voice he recognized from the communicator but -- he couldn't be too sure ]

It's Raven. [ Not enjoying this fog :\ stupid mind-tricks ]

[Zuko called, since he knew it was impossible to see him. Hopefully Raven could follow the sound of his voice.]

[ He follows the voice, hand still lingering over where his gun resides, just in case something decides to lunge from the darkness. But~ He'll be following Zuko's voice, at least being able to identify one of the noises amidst the confusion. ]

It has. But if we stick to the buildings, it'll be easier to make our way back without getting lost.
