I am sixteen. I became Fire Lord last May-- during the one hundred and first year of the war, just a few months short of the first anniversary of the day Sozin's comet was supposed to arrive. Only a few weeks after appointing me, Father tried to have me killed so that he could take the throne back, and most of my summer was spent in a power struggle that ended with his death.
