38 - [video] Item Rain~

[Here, guys, have a Zuko in his shiny new Fire Nation cloak and looking fairly pleased about it. Behind him, spread out over the couch, is his armor, and Momo is perched on the back of the couch next to it, huge ears twitching curiously as he prods at a point with one paw.

Zuko smooths the cloak over his chest, just watching Momo for a moment before he seems to remember he was going to say something and turns back to the camera, frowning slightly]

I don't know what the scientists are trying to pull, but I'm getting kind of suspicious of all the useful things I've been getting... first the pepper tree, now this and even some spices from home along with the clothes.

Then again, it seems a bunch of people got things they didn't want or need. I don't see the pattern... Could it be a mistake? Or are they just giving us random things from home? Why doesn't this place ever make any sense?

I only just got here and I still can't shake the feeling like it's just a matter of time before the other shoe drops. [sigh] Maybe it is random. Maybe they really are just ... being nice.

I really doubt they're just being nice. It's either a mistake or we're not getting the whole picture yet.

Heh. We wear cloaks like that back home, sometimes. Except less flashy. But that's probably true about most Fire Country stuff when compared to the Fire Nation.

... But I agree. It does make me feel suspicious. I got some of Sensei's books. Not useful, but still enjoyable. Hopefully it's the season and not the scientists buttering us up before they do something awful.

Really? Hmm, at least it's pretty warm, so it'll be useful here. Dunno about the armor though.

Yeah, I really hope not. But it's not like hoping's done me much good here before, so we should probably stay prepared.

Definitely useful. ... Armor I guess could be useful in some cases, but it often just slows you down.

Staying prepared is something I plan on doing.

Hey, someone else got one of their uniforms too! But instead of spices I got a Beatles record which is way more awesome because I can just hit up England for spices but a record I can listen to all the time!
