Okay, so what's the big deal about this whole Hollow-Een thing?

It's a festival, but not really. But people dress up in costumes for no reason? And they eat... weird food.

Anyone want to explain this to me because it's not making any sense?

The holiday was founded on both pagan and Christian traditions from centuries ago, but it's pretty much just become about the candy since then.

It's just another way to have fun, I think. There was a reason behind it all, but I don't remember now.

The food isn't really all that weird, it's just a little spooky at times.

Some of the costumes people put on are a little scary. There are also haunted houses that some people like to go too also, and the purpose of that is to scare people.

Well... it's interesting to see the sorts of things that bring people together like this. I've never seen anything like this before and everyone seems to be coming together and getting excited about it. Even if I don't understand it, I guess it's that seeing so many people enjoy themselves just—seems to make everything else happy, too.
