20 - [video] Fog and free meat

[The video turns on to show an expanse of fog, moving to point at the ground where something shadowy is visible through the mist]

The fog really does mess with your sense of direction. A minute ago I was only a few steps from Horton... Haru especially, maybe you shouldn't wander around.

Anyway... I found this body. Looks like one of the monsters, but it's pretty badly chopped up. It seemed unusual. Any idea who or what could've done this?

[He takes a few steps closer, nudging the shadow with his foot and panning the camera around. Whatever it had been, it was pretty big, and there were several lumps of it scattered around. Overall, not a pretty sight, and after a few more moments, Zuko turns the camera back towards himself. He's wearing a slightly disgusted expression, but otherwise looks thoughtful]

Anyone want to come over here and help me drag some of this home? I'm not one to refuse free meat.

If it's been dead for awhile, the chances of it becoming infected or infested with maggots is high.

I'm not an idiot, Raven. It hasn't been dead more than an hour or two, if that.

[ a soft scoff, though it's more in amusement than anything else ]

I'm by the warehouses on Lander.

Some irritating guy named Break might be coming too. Said he knew you?

[PAUSE]

Break is going too?

Feel free to convince him not to. I just needed a hand, and no one else was offering.

Why would he offer?

He's stubborn. It would be pointless.

Well, the more people, the more we can carry back. It's convenient that we live on the same floor even.

[Aaaand he's just hanging out in the fog, waiting for you and keeping a hand on his sword hilts]

(All considered it, doesn't really take Break all that long to get to where Zuko is, hat and cane and all -- all not including sweets, depressingly. Footsteps may or may not enlighten you to his presence since, well, apparently the fog is playing tricks on all and sundry. But hey. He looks surprisingly relaxed and upbeat considering the situation.)

[ And he'll just be arriving shortly, coat tightly pulled over his body, trying to see through this damn fog, you know ]

[Zuko looks up at the sound of approaching footsteps, drawing his swords soundlessly just in case. It was probably only Raven or Beat, but he couldn't see a thing in the fog, so... better be cautious, right?]

Hello?

[ He could have sworn he heard footsteps in a different direction from the voice he recognized from the communicator but -- he couldn't be too sure ]

It's Raven. [ Not enjoying this fog :\ stupid mind-tricks ]

Over here.

[Zuko called, since he knew it was impossible to see him. Hopefully Raven could follow the sound of his voice.]

[ He follows the voice, hand still lingering over where his gun resides, just in case something decides to lunge from the darkness. But~ He'll be following Zuko's voice, at least being able to identify one of the noises amidst the confusion. ]

It's gotten worse.

[Zuko waves when he sees an approaching shadow in the mist, hoping it's Raven since it's rather difficult to tell for sure.]

It has. But if we stick to the buildings, it'll be easier to make our way back without getting lost.

[ Nods some and spares a glance ahead ]

Has anyone else arrived yet?

I thought I heard some more footsteps, but I can't be sure... They should be here shortly though.
