[Kid has it propped against his foot. He holds up two nice, shiny black handguns, then turns so Zuko can see the other side.]

These are handguns. And here--[He points one at the comm, and points at the barrel with the other gun]--is where bullets shoot out. They cause some nasty injuries, moreso death if you're skilled enough.
