[ The industrial district: apparently not a good idea right now. And who can keep track of a stupid little recording device when being attacked by weird purple-eyed people? The Dreamberry falls, kicked off to the side, to show a flurry of unclear action--shouting, noises, running feet, the obvious signs of fighting despite the fact the view is mostly of the ground.

For anyone happening by, Zuko seems to have found himself surrounded by these creatures. Or people.

Actually, he really isn't sure. They look... ravenous, certainly not normal. But, though he has no desire to lose and get mauled or whatever they want to do to him, so far he's only been using his fists and feet. And that is quickly getting him overrun. He grunts as he's thrown back by a particularly violent blow, striking the stone wall behind him heavily enough to make him gasp.

And then it's entirely instinct taking over because several of the possessed people are bearing down on him and he's struggling for breath and he has no intention of dying in a place like this. With a snarl, Zuko shoves off of the wall, and the Dreamberry might catch a flash of bright orange light as he finally resorts to Firebending. ]


((OOC: COME JOIN ZUKO IN EPIC BATTLETIMES. Action and Dreamberry responses welcome, though we'll just assume he gets to the latter after he's done beating up possessed NPCs.

Speaking of which, if anyone with an NPC account wants to jump in for a little one-on-one battle, that would also be lovely. :D ))

[Zuko only glances at the man long enough to ascertain that he is not one of the possessed and that he knows how to defend himself. And then he's distracted again, angling so they can be back-to-back to easier fend off the things.]

Looks like you got caught in this mess too.

[Altair swung his sword into the head of one of the things moving towards him, only barely remembering to turn the blade so the flat connected instead. He kicked the downed creature away before he responded.]

They are similar to the wraiths I encountered in my home world, but I do not believe they are the same. I am not sure what they are, only that they appear to have been men. [He would have continued, but the one he had knocked down was moving again, and had been joined by more.]

I do not believe our tactics are working. [instinct was telling him that something had happened that he was unaware of, but gave no clue as to the specifics.]

So we shouldn't kill them? If they're people.

[He makes sure, sending a wave of fire at the legs of one of the groups.

Tactics? What tactics? His only strategy at the moment is 'don't get killed.']

[For a moment Altair was distracted from the fight at the sight of the fire appearing from the other's hands. He did not have long however before he was swarmed by the men and forced to concentrate only on the fight.]

If they are similar to those from my home then they are being controlled. I would suggest finding the one responsible, but I do not know where they could be.

[Altair finally noted the stones many appeared to carry, constantly reaching towards Zuko and himself. He knocked them out of several hands and noted that the men seemed intent on touching them with the gems.]

Prevent them from reaching us. No matter how it must be done. But I do not believe that standing our ground is beneficial.
