The others are busy, I'm not in the mood to just starve because someone says I can't go hunting. I'm perfectly capable of getting around and I don't feel the slightest bit ill.

[ He sighed a bit before locking this up. No need to tell the entire city. ]

One of Jeanne's abilities as a Shaman is that she can revive the dead and heal any injury. So long as she doesn't get the infection either, none of us would have to worry about possibly dying.

[ Ren is taking a serious gamble at this but he's half counting on her not catching the infection so that if he catches it, then she can take care of it. ]

But she can't heal herself?

She can, but I don't know how well when she's feeling ill herself.

[ Hmm, to mention that she spent most of her time inside a literal Iron Maiden for what he knows or not to.. ]

It took some planning and coincidence that Jeanne arrived, otherwise I wouldn't be testing the chip removal infection rate.

So cow or wolf? I'm finding that the wolves are a bit stringy, but they keep longer than the beef.

[Zuko noticed it had been locked. He's kind of grateful Ren chose to tell him what he's been apparently keeping to himself. And, don't worry, he's not betraying Ren's trust.]

Hmm... I didn't even know there were cows around here. The meat should keep well enough in the snow, so I think we should treat ourselves to some beef.

It might be good to get something that will last longer though, and I'm getting a group of several people together, so how about we split up and get both? ~~You'll be getting the cows.~~

[ Something was telling him he could trust this information to Zuko. Maybe it was the way he thought; it was similar to his, and Ren knew Zuko wouldn't just blab it around. Either way, he was highly appreciating that fact. ]

They're...larger than what you may be thinking, and are oddly colored. But they taste the same. I got lucky once and surprised one, but I think the snow has been making them move further into the woods.

I agree, we might as well while the snow is still around to act as a freezer. To keep the other monsters from scavenging though, we'll have to bury it well so they don't steal it.

Uh... larger? Like mooselion large? Or are they more like bulltigers?

And yes, good point. The monsters don't come too close to the buildings usually though, so it should be safe if we keep it nearby.
